Seems early
But it feels right

Then sledding with my own kids

Domination

This is a real feat:

Swirling a glass of red wine with your dominant hand and taking a picture of said glass with your non-dominant hand.

Try this at home.

Just don't do it as early as I did with Tired Corporate Wife just strolling through the door.

Espana

I wish I was in Espana right now. Or atleast Nassau.

They don't make wine in Nassau but I could use a little sun, a little beach and the odd bikini sighting just now.

Eco-chic twins in captivity

Eco Chic?

The Booze Ministry of Ontario calls these bags "Eco-Chic". But how chic are they when they get left at other people's houses? I do believe that these two bags belonged to Pinot and Sancerre. But now they are mine, all mine...and I guess I am the chic one.

One bottle can be boring

So I opened two - just for variety.

The first - gulf station yarra valley 2007 pinot.

The second - beaulieu vineyards cab sauv 2005 napa valley.

Vintages?

I guess the Tough Times are here, boys. Appearing now in the Danforth-Broadview LCBO "Vintages" section: Perrin Reserve. Described as a "smart buy". Time to start jumping from buildings, I say...

Picture of empty wine glass

It was a chablis. The Vouvray in the fridge is an option - but it is more of an aperitif - too sweet for the darkness of night. Think I'll go for a red - an Argentinian - Gran Lurton that is already open. Whoops - I've mentioned three wines. Open. We are not alkies here. This is simply a wine house. Not Amy Winehouse. We just like to taste a little bit of a lot of wine. Come by any time...

Vouvray with screw top

Maison des Princes. Demi-sec. 2007. $16.95. On cold winter's night.
