The Breakdown:

The most popular wine with a total of 15 points was the cheap Ravenswood Zin at $17.95 - but there were no first place votes for this wine. Four wineleaguers had it as their number two however.

A close second was the Beaulieu Zin at $25.95 with two first place votes from Father Kev and Johnny Moustache.

The least popular wine was the Ravenswood Barricia at $40 - the second most expensive wine. This wine also had the highest alcohol content.

As for the most expensive wine, the ledendary Chateau Montelena at $51.95 - John Vivant and Cristal Chambers had it at number one. Pinot Paul, the man who brought the wine and raved about its pedigree, had this wine as his least favourite.

Does this mean that Pinot lost this particular instalment of the Wine League? No, not at all. We don't lump people into winners or losers categories in our league. Let's just say that Pinot may have missed a line change with his assessment of the legendary wine.

Another interesting and fun tasting boys. Every time out I learn a little bit more about wine and everyone's weird sexual practices.

A pleasure to host as always...
